Christopher J Orton
Creator, Producer, Director
Christopher J. Orton hails from Chepstow, South Wales. He began his career as a composer and lyricist at the age of 18, whilst studying opera at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and then musical theatre at The Royal Academy of Music in London. Since then he has gone on to write six musicals, four plays, numerous comedy cabarets and produce his own creations such as The FlyBoys.
Along side this, he has been working as a professional actor for the last nine years and his career has recently brought him back to star as "Lancelot" in 'Monty Python's Spamalot' in London's West End, and saw him cast in the iconic role of Tom Jones in a musical based on the singer's early life.
Despite predominantly being an actor and singer, Chris' first instrument is violin and if you've heard any of the FlyBoy's tracks then you've heard him play!
